About Sure Footing

Sure Footing is a curriculum matching and homeschool planning tool operated by Threshold Holdings LLC. By using Sure Footing, you agree to these terms.

Early Access

Sure Footing is currently in early access (alpha). The service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. Features may change, be added, or be removed as we develop the product based on user feedback.

Curriculum Information

Sure Footing provides curriculum recommendations based on the information you share with us. We strive for accuracy, but:

• Curriculum details (pricing, availability, content) may change without notice by publishers.
• Match percentages are based on our algorithm and your stated preferences. They are recommendations, not guarantees.
• State homeschool requirement information is provided for general guidance. Always verify requirements with your state's department of education.
• We are not affiliated with any curriculum publisher. Our recommendations are not sponsored or paid.

User-Submitted Content

You may submit curriculum suggestions, flags, feedback, and reviews. By submitting content, you grant Sure Footing a non-exclusive right to use it to improve the service. We may moderate, edit, or remove submitted content at our discretion.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use automated tools or bots to access the service
• Submit false, misleading, or spam content
• Attempt to access other users' data
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose

Subscription & Billing

Sure Footing offers a paid subscription at $4.99 per month, billed via Stripe. The subscription unlocks unlimited curriculum searches and includes the calendar scheduler when it launches at no additional cost.

• Cancellation. You can cancel any time from the Stripe-hosted Customer Portal linked from Settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; access remains until then.
• Refunds. Subscription fees are non-refundable. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. You keep access through paid time.
• Calendar scheduler inclusion. Subscribers as of their subscription start date receive the calendar scheduler at no additional cost when it launches. Pricing for new subscribers may change when the calendar feature is released.
• If your subscription lapses (cancellation period ends, payment fails permanently, etc.), you lose access to subscriber-only features (including the calendar when available) and revert to the 5-search free tier. Your saved searches remain accessible read-only; the free-tier counter resumes from the value it held before you subscribed.
• Marketing emails are optional. When you registered we asked whether you'd like product update emails. You can opt in or out at any time on the Settings page. Transactional emails (verification, password reset, billing receipts) are required for the service.

Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from Settings, which will remove all your data including saved searches.

Limitation of Liability

Sure Footing and Threshold Holdings LLC are not liable for any educational outcomes, curriculum purchase decisions, or damages arising from the use of this service. Our recommendations are informational and should be considered alongside your own research and judgment.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Significant changes will be communicated via the app or email to account holders.
